Portable Appliance Testing

Portable Appliance Testing is a routine check of all electrical appliances within the home or workplace. Health and safety regulations state that when people work with electrical appliances, the appliance must be safe. The level of portable appliance testing required depends on both the type of appliance and the environment it's used in.

Whilst portable appliance testing is not strictly compulsory, it is generally regarded as being the best way of meeting the electrical regulations that exist to protect employees, customers and tenants. Our portable appliance testing is conducted using some of the most advanced testing equipment available which allows us to quickly and efficiently test your environment with as little disruption as possible.

G. P. Green Electrical has now implemented a PDA work solution in conjunction with their vehicle trackers, to help provide a better service to their customers. Customers can now be provided with a job sheet detailing the work carried out, a breakdown of the parts used and the labour time spent on each job.

We will work with you to make sure that your portable appliance testing is carried out at a time that is convenient to you and your company. PAT testing is usually carried out in the evening to ensure there is minimal disruption to employees.
